It was the most wonderful staff development experience I have had in twenty-seven years of teaching Great teachers "smile, share, provoke, inspire, motivate, stimulate and listen. And from time to time, they need conferences like this one ... to remind them why they chose teaching in the first place. The beautiful, isolated location of Kilauea Military Camp in Volcanoes National Park encourages the kind of reflection most of us don't have time for on campus.
